High School - Dual Credit Options

  1. Bishop McNamera Catholic High School - The Enhanced Dual Credit Program allows students who are college ready to attend college and for students to incur significantly less debt upon college graduation.

High School - College/University

  1. Kankakee Community College: In its College Credit Division, KCC awards associate degrees, associate in Applied Science degrees and certificates of completion. Students attend KCC both to prepare to transfer to four-year institutions and complete bachelor's degrees and to prepare to enter the job market directly from KCC.

  2. Olivet Nazarene University: ONU offers architectural, mechanical, geological, chemical, computer, electrical and civil engineering subfields. ONU and KCC are working on articulation for graduates of KCC to go onto ONU to complete a BA or BS degree, particularly for engineering

High School - Technical/Vocational School

  1. KCC Manufacturing Technology Program - Many of the manufacturing-related courses are taken at KC's state-of-the-art Manufacturing Industrial Tech Center.

  3. Kankakee Area Career Center - The primary purpose of the Kankakee Area Career Center (KACC) is to meet the  Career and Technical Education needs of regional high school students.

  4. Hospitality Operations Courses - A new Hospitality Operations certificate will be offered at KCC beginning Fall 2019. The 18-credit hour certificate packages two existing KCC courses along with four newly developed courses. It prepares students to enter the hospitality profession in hotels, restaurants, banquet and entertainment venues as well as meeting, convention and event planning settings. Employment opportunities are in restaurants, chambers of commerce, tourism destinations, recreation businesses and hotels.

Degree Completion Program

  1. Kankakee Community College - This degree completion program will allow some KCC students to earn a bachelor’s degree in technology from over 13 Universities/Colleges including Eastern and Northern Illinois Universities, Governors State University, Olivet Nazarene University and many more without leaving thier region.
